Tried booking it the other day and the site just kept freezing on me. Not really sure what was going on, but after a couple of tries I just gave up

"The kids definitely enjoyed learning about the animals..."
The kids definitely enjoyed learning about the animals, and it was nice to see them interested and asking questions. For me personally, I usually like exhibits to have a bit more detail, so some of the signs felt a little basic in places. Still a good visit overall, just a bit flatter than I’d hoped.

"Pretty nice day, even if the animals were being sneaky"
We had an okay time overall. The place is nice and the kids were excited, so that part was great, but a lot of the animals were either hiding or so far away we could barely see them. Kind of disappointing, but not a total waste or anything. The kids still had fun running around and spotting what they could, so I guess it worked out.

"Parking was easy, but we felt a bit ignored"
Parking was really straightforward when we arrived. There were plenty of spaces and we managed to park close enough to the entrance, which made the start of the day nice and easy. The only downside was that when we had a question, it felt like we were kind of ignored, which took away from the experience a bit.

"Knew it would be easy to get around"
We visited Highland Wildlife Park the signage was just as good as I’d hoped. I’d heard it was straightforward to get around, and the whole time I kept thinking, yep, they were right. The car park, entrance, and paths were all really easy to follow, even with the kids asking questions every two minutes. The map boards were super helpful too, and we never had that “where are we?” moment. Definitely made the day feel way more relaxed.

"Lovely views, decent day out"
We had a nice wander around the park and the setting is really pretty. The views over the hills were probably the best part, especially when the light changed a bit, I always end up taking too many photos of that kind of thing and then never deleting them. A few parts did feel a bit spread out, and it was windier than I expected, so maybe bring a jacket even if you think you won’t need one. Overall though, it was a pleasant day out and worth going for the scenery alone.

"Cafe was just okay"
We stopped by the cafe for lunch after visiting the wildlife park . It was fine overall , but nothing really stood out . The food was okay , just a bit pricey for what you get . Coffee was decent though , and the cakes looked more tempting than the hot meals . Staff were friendly enough , but the queue moved slowly . Not a bad spot , just feels like it could be better .

"Fine at first, but went downhill"
The toilets were okay when I first got there, nothing amazing but usable. Then by the afternoon, what happened? They got messy and I wasn’t too impressed.

"Felt fair to the animals, not just fun for visitors"
I felt good walking around here. The animals looked well cared for and had plenty of room, which matters a lot to me. The staff also seemed to genuinely know the animals and their routines, rather than just putting on a show for visitors. I’m always a bit cautious with places like this, but this one felt reassuring and fair to the animals.

"we had a really lovely day here..."
we had a really lovely day here as a family. the kids were so excited seeing all the animals, and there was loads of space for them to run around and burn off some energy. the staff were friendly too, which made the visit even better.

"A lovely little stop-in"
Popped into this wee gift shop and had a really nice browse. The staff were lovely and friendly, which always makes a difference. They had some good bits and pieces too, the kind of place where you go in for a quick look and somehow end up considering buying three things you definitely don’t need. I was actually just killing a bit of time before heading off for coffee, but I’m glad I stopped in.

"Pretty decent enclosures, to be fair"
I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting to be that impressed, but the enclosures were actually lovely and spacious. The animals seemed to have plenty of room, especially compared with some other parks I’ve been to. Everything looked clean, fairly natural, and not at all cramped. It did feel like they’d put proper thought into making the spaces comfortable.

"Really nice and wheelchair-friendly"
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get around in my wheelchair. The paths were smooth and accessible, which made the whole visit feel really relaxed and enjoyable.

"Honestly, I was blown away by how clean it was"
Took my kids last weekend and I swear I couldn’t stop commenting on how spotless the whole park was. The paths, toilets, picnic areas, everything was so tidy, even later in the day when you’d normally expect things to start looking a bit chaotic. I didn’t spot litter anywhere, and the bins weren’t overflowing, which felt like a small miracle. Even the animal areas looked really well looked after. We had such a lovely day out, and the cleanliness made it so much more relaxing.

We took our two kids for the day and they absolutely loved it. The activity sheets were great for keeping them busy in between seeing the animals, and the play areas gave us all a nice little break. The staff were friendly and happy to answer their questions too. Planning the visit was easy using the website, which was a bonus. We’d definitely go again.

"A Really Nice Safari Day Out"
We had a great time at the drive-through safari. I was very calm and relaxed the whole time, obviously, even when the kids were losing their minds over the animals being so close. The route was easy to follow, the staff were friendly, and it was lovely to see the animals with plenty of space around them. Definitely the kind of day out we’d happily do again.

I liked the focus on conservation and it’s clear they’re doing good work, which I really appreciated. That said, the actual visit felt a little thin and not quite as engaging as I hoped. Overall, kind of hit or miss for me

"Fair prices by my standards"
I thought the prices were fair, at least by my usual standard for snacks and coffee. Nothing felt overpriced, and it was easy to grab a quick bite and drink without feeling like I spent too much.
